Does evolution really matter?
There is no reason for Christians to believe in evolution in the first place. At least personally I don’t think that there is enough evidence. But secondly and more importantly, if macroevolution is true, it does not change the validity of the Bible.
Christianity believes that God created everything. Christianity does not specify if man and beast and everything came through evolution or instant creation.
Whether we believe God created man instantly or man was born out of a monkey, it does not change the fact that man was created by God.
Even the Bible is not completely clear on whether or not the world was created in 6 days. The Hebrew word that we usually read as “day” also is used to mean “age”. God could either have made the world in 6 days or 6 ages.
It is more important that everything was created compared to when it was created.
