Atheists like to claim that there is no evidence that prayers are ever answered, but what they don’t realize is that there is just as much evidence for the opposing view as well.

Most of the evidence for the idea that prayers are answered is evidence from testimony.

Does this sound familiar: “Oh I prayed that God would encourage me and remind me that He loves me and someone walked up to me in the next 5 minutes and told me that God loves me.”

Now anytime that an atheist hears that, they immediately discredit you because there is no way to verify what you claimed.

But you can flip the whole thing on them. Ask them how they know that prayer doesn’t work. But chances are, all they will say is that they prayed and the prayer wasn’t answered.

But there is no way to verify their claim…
