So, how could I be happy if someone I love is in Hell?

Atheists use this question to say heaven and hell aren’t real. Liberal Christians will use this to say hell isn’t real and some Christians will use this question and say that we don’t know the truth about who is in Hell.

Most likely, heaven is heaven, hell is hell, we will remember who is with us in heaven and who is not, and be happy regardless as we are in heaven

It’s important to remember that God’s love surpasses all and that the joy of God surpasses all. Take a look at what The Bible says in Revelation:

15 Therefore,“they are before the throne of God    and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne    will shelter them with his presence.16 ‘Never again will they hunger;    never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat.17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne    will be their shepherd;‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

Revelation 7:15-17

In Heaven, all of our sorrow will be gone. On the day of Judgement day, all people will recognize God’s Justice. There is no one that is going to get a raw deal of the Day of Judgement. Revelation talks about this glorious day:

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Revelation 21:4

We may not be able to understand everything now, but we can trust in God’s word, that we will never be tearful again. Once we reach heaven, we will truly understand sin and how bad it really is because in heaven, because there is no place for sin to hide.

Only people who belong in hell will be in hell, and only people who belong in heaven will be in heaven

As for now, I think we should be able to trust in God’s justice. God can only make right decisions, he cannot make mistakes

We may not fully know the answer to this question, but we can be certain that there is an answer. Heaven is a place where we will not be sad. God is all-powerful, and he has a perfect solution waiting for us.
