It is a widely accepted historical fact that Jesus was crucified. Christians and skeptics alike, both agree on this fact. Only extremely skeptical historians would argue this fact, but they have no evidence to support their claims.

Some skeptics, however, claim that the cross did not kill him.

They claim that Jesus somehow miraculously survived his own crucifixion and then moved the giant stone in front of his tomb and walked out.

Because it appeared to his disciples that he resurrected from the dead, Christianity was born.

There are many flaws in this theory.

First, of which, the Romans were extremely talented killers. They knew exactly how to kill someone within crucifixion and were efficient at this.

Dr. Alexander Metherell, considered one of the top experts in the field of human science said of Jesus’ crucifixion in The Case for Christ

“There was absolutely no doubt that Jesus was dead.”

Dr. Alexander Metherell

There are no historical records of anyone surviving a Roman crucifixion.

Crucifixion is simply impossible to survive. This article does a great job of explaining the horrific process.

There is simply no way Jesus could have survived the agonizing crucifixion.

So that brings the question, did Jesus resurrect from the dead or not?
