Have you ever seen a tweet like this:
“Muhammad was a pedophile and a warmongering liar.”
What good does that do? What can that possibly accomplish? Nothing. Actually, if it accomplished nothing that would be good.
Usually, these tweets have a negative effect on any apologetic efforts towards Muslims that read that. Imagine if you saw a tweet, “Jesus is not God, he was a drunkard and a liar that managed to convince people to worship him.”
And then the person that posted that invited you to leave Christianity.
At risk of sounding like a parent here, check your heart before you tweet. If you are tweeting to get likes and retweets you may need to start a fast.
So it is important to have Apologetics but remember 1 Peter 3:15.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answerto everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect
1 Peter 3:15
Love comes first. Then Truth.

This is excellent advice. It also should apply to apologetics who bash Buddhism with long disproven and false facts that have been floating around since colonial England invaded India.
One should never have to embellish the truth. It can stand up by itself to any challenge.
